We are kids wanting to help others. We came up with the idea because our cousin needed a liver transplant at birth and was lucky enough to receive one. Now we want to make sure anyone who needs the gift of an organ, gets it!

Our cousin needed a liver transplant less than 24 hours after birth in June 2015. The night he was supposed to go back to his house, his parents were faced with the news that he needed to stay in the hospital so he could stay alive. He was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai then at UCLA Hospital for the first 4 months of

The night he was supposed to go back to his house, his parents were faced with the news that he needed to stay in the hospital so he could stay alive. He was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai then at UCLA Hospital for the first 4 months of his life. Then he was off and on for many months to follow. He was lucky to receive a matching liver after 9 months.

Our goal is to raise organ donation awareness while supporting organ recipients and their families of the financial responsibility that goes along with receiving the "Ultimate Gift" of an organ.

The average cost of any transplant is $400,000 to $1.4 million dollars.
Insurance
In the US only a small percentage of people can afford a transplant. Most can not.
Choice to have or not have a transplant?
When one is given a choice to save a life, they do. When doing so, they agree to receive the medical costs along with it. This puts most transplant recipients and their families in financial distress.
Organ Donor
One organ donor can save 8 lives.
Organ Transplant Wait
Most donor recipients are waiting for a organ for 3-5 years. During that time, more medical costs are incurred and a tremendous amount of stress is put upon their family and selves.
